•    My presentation :

I’m 22 years old. I grew up in the Rhône  department, most precisely in Lyon located in the Est of France.
People say about myself that i’m easy to live. Always optimistic, never upset, I try the best I could to take life in the best way.
I’m very concerned about human relations (family, friends or working colleagues). I’m also someone who is worker and who does not discourage himself easily

•    My interests. environment and sport :

Environment :
Since I’m a kid, respect about environment (fauna and flora) is a concept which preoccupies me. I grew up in a family where recycling, energy saving, the respect of the outside world were a principle of life.
Sport :
I always do sports (Basket ball, volley ball, mountain bike, running…) mainly for the convivial aspect but also in the goal to reach my limits. It is a simple and effective way to do some news meeting, to create links, to exchange with others.
About my studies, I passed à BTS specialized in sale that I performed with the group E.Leclerc.

•    Why make a EVS ?

For now several years, I wish to live a year abroad in order to learn a language, to discover new way of life, another culture.
It is, I think, an enriching experiment that is for my future professional life or quite simply the best way to realize what is called Europe.
Speaking English and preferring the Anglo-Saxon culture, I had decided to live in Ireland during one year whole in September 2009.
My project started to take form when a friend spoke to me about the SVE.
I got information at the local mission which explained me of what that consisted.
It was the catch.
Even if it means leaving abroad, why not making it by going useful? I put aside my initial plan to concentrate on EVS.
I wish through this EVS to better know myself by confronting me with another culture, other realities and way of life and working. I want to differently live Europe than by “great speeches” but while going to the meeting of other Europeans, dreaming about the same solidarity, while acting concretely by the means of your association

My EVS project is followed by Clara Morgane of the local mission of Villeurbanne. The local mission has experience in volunteer sending and the international partnerships. I am accompanied in a serious and regular way in my project.

I hope that I could share with you my European voluntary service. I stay at your disposal for all information. That your answer is positive or negative, I would like to thank you for being among those which act for a cleaner/better world.

Tu mets yours sincerely ou yours fatihfully, je me souviens plus comment on les applique, ou alors Best regards si tu es une feignasse comme moi. Sinon en effet évite les contractions dans les lettres officielles, c'est du plus mauvais effet, ça fait Johhny qui arrive en mâchant un chewing-gum et qui fout ses pieds sur la table.

Local mission -> tu es sûr que ça existe en anglais ? Si non, tu laisse les français entre guillemets et tu expliques entre parenthèses.
SVE se traduit-il par EVS ? Regarde sur leur site pour être sûr.

Sinon dans l'ensemble, et histoire de faire un triple post, c'est pas mal poussif mais on te demande pas d'être Virginia Woolf non plus je pense. Ca reste compréhensible, gaffe quand même aux contresens.

C'est yours sincerely si tu connais le mec ou son nom, yours faithfully si tu commences par dear sir / dear madam.

Best regards n'est franchement pas formel. Sinon j'ai pas lu la lettre je jetterai un coup d'oeil quand j'aurai le temps

J'ai corrigé la forme, pas (trop) le fond. avec les trucs de hohun intégrés aussi. C'est pas dit que j'ai pas foutu de conneries ou oublié des trucs par contre.

I have been involved in environment since my childhood, this is an area I feel concerned about. I grew up in a family where recycling, energy saving, and the respect of nature were life principles.
Sports :
I still regularly practice sports (Basket ball, volley ball, mountain bike, running…) mainly for the social aspect but also to pushing my limits. It is a simple and effective way to meet people, create links, and share with others.
Concerning my studies, I obtained an Advanced Vocational Diploma specialized in sales that I performed with the company E.Leclerc.

For several years now, I have been looking forward to living a year abroad so as to learn a new language, discover a new life style and another culture.
This would constitute, in my opinion, a rewarding experience for my coming professional life and the best way to realize what is called "Europe".

My EVS project is currently followed by Tamère Lapute from the local mission in Villeurbanne. The local mission has had experience in sending volunteers and in international partnerships. Thus I will be assisted regularly and thoroughly during all the process.

J'ai corrigé certaines fautes qui piquaient les yeux (genre leaving/living), et j'ai simplifié quelques tournures lourdes. Sur le fond j'ai rien changé puisque tu dis que c'est comme ça qu'il faut présenter ces lettres, mais j'estime que les questions ne devront pas figurer dans le document final.
