Mon PC principal est mort, port AGP carbonisé, paix à son âme. En même temps ca me donne une raison pour acheter un PC récent et  arrêter de me faire chier avec ma Geforce4 ti4200.

Bon, 700 à 800€ de budjet, je prépare la config. Mais putain, une licence XP neuve tourne autour de 90€... 1/8 du prix du PC là dedans ca me ferait chier, et comme je ne veux pas passer à un OS gratuit je vais devoir me faire taxer.

Sauf sauf sauf qu'un voisin (le connard qui s'y connait trop en informatique tavu, d'ailleurs il a au moins 2Go de ram) m'a dit qu'on pouvait, en écrivant une belle lettre à Windows qui expliquait que ton ancien PC était mort, récupérer la licence pour la mettre sur un nouveau PC.
Ca me parait gros quant même, parcequ'il faut bien que Bill gagne un peu de sous pour beurrer sa biscotte.

C'est vrai ou je peux aller railler la peinture de la bagnole du voisin?

1.  Double-click My Computer
   2. Double-click on the "C" drive
   3. Go to the C:\Windows\System32 folder (you may have to click on the link that says "Show The contents of this folder")
   4. Find the files "wpa.dbl" and "wpa.bak" and copy them to a safe location. You can copy them on a floppy drive or burn it onto a CD or DVD.
   5. After you have reinstalled Windows XP on your reformatted hard drive, click "No" when asked if you want to go ahead and go through the activation process
   6. Reboot your computer into SafeMode (you can either press F8 as Windows is booting up to see the Windows Advanced Options menu and select SAFEBOOT_OPTION=Minimal or follow the instructions in Starting Windows XP in SafeMode
   7. Double-click My Computer
   8. Double-click on the "C" drive
   9. Go to the C:\Windows\System32 folder (you may have to click on the link that says "Show The contents of this folder")
  10. Find the file "wpa.dbl" and "wpa.bak" (if it exists) and rename them to "wpadbl.new" and "wpabak.new"
  11. Copy your original "wpa.dbl" and "wpa.bak" files from your floppy disk, CD or DVD into the C:\Windows\System32 folder
  12. Restart your system (if you followed the directions in Starting Windows XP in SafeMode you may need to go back into MSCONFIG to turn off booting into SafeMode)

Voila! Your Windows XP operating system is now reinstalled on your reformatted hard drive and you are all activated without having to actually go through the product activation process!

Remember though. This won't work for transferring activation information from one computer to another or if you alter the hardware because the information contained in your "wpa.dbl" file will not match the configuration of the computer. This trick is only for reinstalling Windows XP on the exact same computer after formatting the hard drive.

En gros ça marche mais pas en changeant le matos. Mais y'a bien plus simple: une version corpo et un keygen tongue

sinon peut être en disant à microsoft que ton pc est mort et que en faisant jouer la garantie ils ont pas pu donner le même matos. (genre carte mère cramée et pas le même modèle en stock). moi ca me paraitrai normal si c'est dans le cas d'un remplacement de pc.
et puis si ca marche pas ben comme dis Napalm, corpo et keygen.

J'avais pensé au corpo mais je préfèrerais pouvoir choper le Pack2, et vu que je suis un piwate très occasionnel (il m'arrive d'aller sur mininova quoi), je suis pas sûr de pouvoir tout bien configurer pour que ca marche.

Et quant à la garantie, c'est un pc Carrouf qui a 5 ans que j'avais récupéré de mes parents.

Tu n'as pas le droit de transférer une licence OEM, elle est liée à ton PC. Pour une licence boite il n'y a pas de problème (mais elle coute deux fois plus cher).

Il ne te reste donc que des solutions illégales (ou payer).

Et Windows XP Pack2 existe en "solution illégale" ou je suis obligé de prendre la version qui laisse passer tous les virus?
